  This is a course that offers some wonderful challenges. Fairways are F A S T, as are the greens (I really didn't see the breaks!) Water comes into play when least expected (and, no I didn't see that coming either) and the 9th hole is a classic 445-yard, par 4, which forms a crescent around a lake. Some on this hole have a tendency to cut the lake on their approach to the green. This effort is often ill-fated! (down 9 balls)

There are some serious challenges on this course with narrow fairways (walls and water, you'll find it) and water plays that you really should try to avoid and take a safety shot! (wonder how many balls they dig out of there?). Bunkers are strategically placed on a few holes and just when you thought you had it easy, get out the sand wedge!                                                                                            

The staff is helpful and great to deal with. I paired up with a nice young man new to the Naples area by way of South Africa, who tolerated my duffer ways. (Look for him soon on Golf Link Ups, ladies). A refreshment cart (thanks for getting us cigars) and water are on the course for the hot summer afternoons.

Warm up at the driving range by hitting balls into the lake to get you ready for the rest of the game, (can we have some of those floating balls? Check out GOLF STUFF you can buy them on our site).
