This course winds
through stately pine and orange trees.(The oranges were ripe and
falling to the ground New Years Day, but I didn't get a chance to
try one).
We were able to
get times for the 32nd annual Shot Gun...what a great event.
Arriving early for our 1 o'clock, we were hoping to get some
breakfast, but had to settle for some wonderful
hamburgers.
I must say that
this well-manicured course will be enjoyed by scratch golfers and
high handicappers alike. The greens are tediously groomed and
the course is great fun to play. The four of us (George, Karen,
Bruce and me) had tons of laughs with stupid shots
(George couldn't get out of the trees that day) and I
would recommend this course to all locals ($10.00 discount card for
the year was given to us and I am chatting with them about special
cheapgolfnow discounts).
